Hello god… can you hear me now? is a sculpture that delves into themes of faith, doubt, and self-discovery.
The artwork centers on Wilbur, a small flesh-eating worm with a charcoal-grey mohawk, emerging from vibrant green soil. Nearby, two whimsical mushrooms dance, while a towering crucifix in the background hints at humanity’s enduring search for meaning. The scene unfolds under a sky of pink clouds, blending humor with introspection.

A narrated story accompanies the piece, inviting reflection on personal beliefs and the universal quest for connection. The story serves as a reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human spirit, encouraging viewers to embrace uncertainty and seek solace in the interconnectedness of all things.
This sculpture is part of Sporulation 2024.
